Join a remote-first engineering team building a scalable, global Employer of Record platform. As an Intermediate Full Stack Engineer, you'll contribute across the entire development lifecycle, designing and implementing features that power international employment infrastructure. You'll work closely with product and engineering peers in an asynchronous, time-zone-resilient environment that values clarity, ownership, and technical rigor.
What You'll Do
- Develop responsive web interfaces using React and TypeScript, ensuring a smooth user experience
- Design and maintain backend services using Java with Spring Boot or Python and related frameworks
- Build and integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs to connect frontend and backend systems
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to support reliable, maintainable code
- Apply AI-assisted coding tools like Cursor, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot while critically evaluating their output
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define and deliver new functionality
- Engage in architecture discussions and contribute to engineering-wide initiatives
What We're Looking For
- At least 3 years of experience developing full-stack web applications
- Proven work with React and TypeScript in production environments
- Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot or Python-based backend frameworks
- Familiarity with REST and GraphQL API design and consumption
- Solid understanding of CSS and modern UI development practices
- Strong written communication skills and experience collaborating remotely
Nice-to-Have
- Experience using AI coding assistants and a disciplined approach to reviewing generated code
- Background in test-driven development (TDD)
- Exposure to SaaS, B2B products, or domains like FinTech or HRTech
- Understanding of security best practices and performance tuning
- Self-motivated mindset with initiative to solve problems and grow independently
