Whatnot is seeking a Frontend Engineer to join the Inventory team within Seller Engineering. In this role, you will build a redesigned vision for how sellers sell live on Whatnot and support them in managing their merchandise accurately and efficiently to reach more buyers.
What You'll Do
- Build a redesigned vision for how sellers sell live on Whatnot.
- Support sellers with managing their merchandise and representing it accurately.
- Deliver features end-to-end.
- Own projects from inception to production and beyond.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of software engineering experience.
- Expert in frontend web development with React.
- Experience using GraphQL for API development.
- Experience with modern frontend applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent product instincts, thinking about users first.
- Ability to implement pixel perfect design.
- Comfortable sharing insights and pushing back on team ideas.
- Proven track record of delivering features end-to-end.
- Strong ownership instincts and ability to own projects from inception to production.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to the Next.js framework.
