Responsibilities
- Lead the definition and evolution of the frontend architecture for the next-generation console, covering application structure, routing, state management, shared components, and long-term code health
- Design and sustain authentication and session systems across origins, managing auth flows, CORS, CSRF defenses, cookie policies, and multi-environment compatibility
- Develop and maintain a unified frontend hosting platform to support multiple products under a single, streamlined development process
- Create standardized frameworks, conventions, and design systems that unify disparate product interfaces into a consistent platform experience
- Build reusable frontend patterns, tools, and abstractions that empower non-specialist developers to create accessible, production-ready UIs with confidence
- Collaborate closely with Product Design to transform intricate infrastructure and identity concepts into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces
- Work with Growth, Design, Product, and engineering teams to implement and iterate on experiments, including A/B tests, analytics tracking, and phased feature rollouts
- Shape and refine the frontend testing approach across the console, focusing on integration and end-to-end coverage, developer usability, and simplified testing abstractions
- Partner with infrastructure and tooling teams to enhance local development environments, build systems, preview deployments, release processes, and system reliability
- Elevate frontend engineering standards across the organization through technical mentorship, code reviews, and well-defined platform boundaries
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule every few weeks to respond to and resolve production incidents
