Responsibilities
- Guide the advancement of frontend architecture for Real Estate, ensuring alignment with future needs, defining service level objectives, and assessing cross-system impacts alongside senior and principal engineers.
- Develop reusable frontend tools, shared libraries, and components—such as design systems and performance utilities—used across internal teams, with a focus on practicality and broad adoption.
- Lead complex frontend refactors and migrations across multiple systems, including framework updates and product harmonization, by breaking initiatives into manageable tasks and aligning with engineering, product, and stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for frontend expertise across teams and regions, shaping how web experiences are developed within the Real Estate division.
- Support the growth of engineers through structured mentoring, pair programming, and constructive feedback, addressing observed skill deficiencies across teams.
- Promote a constructive feedback culture by guiding teams through difficult discussions and conflicts using blameless, collaborative approaches.
- Evaluate and enhance team and inter-team workflows, proposing adjustments that increase focus, output quality, and development speed.
- Continue active coding while also measuring success through the collective impact on team productivity and technical outcomes.
