Deel is hiring a Front-End Engineer to transform design concepts into functional, high-quality code for our web applications. In this role, you will optimize performance, ensure scalability, and work closely with cross-functional teams to create responsive, visually stunning applications that provide an intuitive and engaging customer experience across all platforms.
What You'll Do
- Work as part of a cross-functional team, collaborating with Backend Engineers, Product Teams, Designers, and QA to build exceptional products.
- Participate in the entire product development lifecycle, from discovery and planning to deployment, contributing valuable insights at each stage.
- Collaborate closely with team members to develop robust new features, APIs, and continuously improve Deel’s products, ensuring high quality and performance.
- Actively troubleshoot, identify, and resolve bugs to maintain Deel’s fast-paced development standards (DeelSpeed).
- Ensure a seamless, white-glove user experience for our customers across all front-end touchpoints.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, designing, coding, testing, and maintaining apps.
- Expert in TypeScript and React.js (Class & Functional Components, React Hooks).
- Strong knowledge of state management tools.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, and server-side languages like Node.js.
- Thrive in a collaborative, remote-first work culture.
- Independent, ownership-driven, and enjoy contributing to team efforts.
- Excellent communicator with technical and non-technical teams.
- Passionate about solving customer problems with a business-focused approach.
- Skilled at creating pixel-perfect, visually appealing applications.
- Comfortable working in distributed teams and remote environments.
Nice to Have
- Experience with SaaS products running 24/7 on major cloud platforms is a plus.
