Responsibilities
- Fix HTML5 and static web content using predefined templates and component frameworks
- Address accessibility barriers in semantic structure, ARIA implementation, keyboard navigation, focus handling, and color contrast ratios
- Investigate and resolve DOM-level issues affecting functionality using JavaScript and jQuery
- Conduct accessibility testing with automated and manual methods, including tools like Axe, WAVE, NVDA, and JAWS
- Follow standardized processes to ensure scalable and consistent delivery of accessible outputs
- Coordinate with quality assurance teams and project stakeholders to verify accuracy and completeness
- Mentor less experienced developers in accessibility standards and conduct code reviews
- Record methods used for remediation and keep detailed logs of implemented changes
