Sidekick Network GmbH & Co. KG is looking for freelance experts in Research & Development, Quality, and Operations to join our talent pool. In this role, you will apply your deep IT service management expertise within manufacturing environments to client projects. Your exact tasks and responsibilities will be defined per engagement.
What You'll Do
- Consult on client projects within manufacturing, focusing on R&D IT, Quality systems, or Smart Factory IT operations
- Manage IT services or applications in a production environment
- Establish and oversee service governance processes
- Manage vendor relationships and performance
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT service or application management
- Hands-on experience working within manufacturing or production environments
- A proven track record in vendor management
- Ability to establish and oversee service governance processes
- Knowledge of ITIL, Service Delivery, and Service Operations frameworks
- Professional fluency in English
Nice to Have
- Experience with low-code platforms, with a preference for Mendix
- Understanding of CAD integration or other R&D IT tools

- PLM/PDM platforms: e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter, SAP PLM
- CAD/CAE IT systems
- Quality management systems and Quality IT operations
