Star Pubs, part of HEINEKEN UK, seeks an FP&A Lead to direct the financial planning and analysis function. You will spearhead process improvements, ensure rigorous compliance, and lead a team dedicated to planning, closing, and budgeting activities.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and supervise daily team activities for Period Closing, Planning & Budgeting/Forecasting & Profitability.
- Assign priorities and oversee FP&A business processes.
- Drive transformations, standardization, and process improvements within the FP&A area.
- Oversee the integration and utilization of financial software and tools to automate and enhance processes.
- Ensure processes and controls align with HEINEKEN Group and unit requirements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies, delivering within agreed SLAs and KPIs.
- Act as an escalation point for dedicated processes, anticipating objections and preparing cases.
- Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to the FP&A team to enhance skills and capabilities.
- Coordinate and lead a team of FP&A professionals, ensuring adherence to processes and performance expectations.
- Plan succession and develop people in the pipeline for leadership or expert roles.
- Implement department goals and strategy alongside the team, ensuring transparent communication.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting, or a similar field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in financial controlling, planning, and financial analysis.
- At least 4 years in managing people, preferably expert teams.
- Good understanding of financial statement and accounting principles.
- Strong business acumen, analytical skills, decision-making skills, change management skills, and accountability.
- Ability to quickly form working relationships, gain credibility, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- English B2/C1 written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have
- CIMA/ACCA qualified or education in progress.
