Responsibilities
- Work directly on-site with clients to extract data, map value flows, and develop minimal yet robust production solutions.
- Conduct quick-turnaround analysis, build prototypes, and validate iteratively using data tools, secure environments, and established methods.
- Achieve tangible results within weeks through rapid implementation, demonstrated return on investment, and clear operational impact.
- Implement models, dashboards, optimization tools, and operational systems addressing critical challenges in Energy, Utilities, or Public Sector.
- Resolve real-time obstacles including data access issues, workflow inefficiencies, security limitations, and stakeholder resistance.
- Maintain a focus on production readiness, ensuring deployed solutions are reliable, upgradable, and continuously refined.
- Establish strong credibility with technical and executive teams through direct, hands-on delivery of working solutions.
- Convert intricate technical challenges into clear, practical insights that promote user adoption and operational integration.
- Educate end users, embed institutional knowledge, and enable client teams to maintain and extend delivered capabilities.
- Record observed patterns, reusable modules, and proven workflows to inform future product development.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Platform Engineering to scale successful approaches and report missing product features.
- Ensure each deployment enhances shared assets, pattern repositories, and cross-sector expertise.
- Spot opportunities for growth using frontline insights and communicate them to leadership.
- Contribute to the design of new enterprise AI offerings based on real-world operational experience in key sectors.
- Assist in defining scope for subsequent high-impact projects in collaboration with the Solutions Director.

Team
Forward Deployed Engineers are embedded full-time on-site within client organizations in Energy, Utilities, or Public Sector. They collaborate daily with operators, engineers, analysts, and executives. While physically in small teams, they participate in broader international virtual initiatives.
