Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other lifting equipment to move raw paper, in-process goods, finished products, and machinery within storage areas, yards, or production facilities
- Load and unload freight from semi-trailer trucks as needed
- Keep inventory records precise and report any inconsistencies promptly
- Place or remove materials on or from pallets, skids, or lifting attachments
- Conduct routine safety inspections on lifting equipment
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as lubricating machinery, recharging batteries, refueling, or replacing gas tanks
Compensation
$3/hr shift premium

- Work schedule runs Sunday through Friday
- Shift hours are from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- Occasional overtime may be required, including on weekends
- Operate forklift with various lifting attachments including clamps, grapples, elevating platforms, or trailer hitches
- Transport materials by pushing, pulling, lifting, stacking, or moving within warehouse or factory settings
- Load and unload semi-trailer trucks when necessary
- Maintain accurate inventory logs and report variances
- Transfer materials to or from pallets, skids, or lifting devices
- Perform regular safety checks on forklifts and lifting equipment
- Carry out maintenance duties such as lubrication, battery charging, fueling, or gas tank replacement
