Responsibilities
- Operate multiple types of folder gluer machinery
- Set up, calibrate, and run various auxiliary binding machines equipped with cutting units, control panels, or add-ons such as inkjet modules, mailing systems, case makers, folders, cutters, collators, stitchers, drills, and gluing devices
- Configure automated bindery systems with multiple functional stations capable of processing printed sheets into finished products like books, catalogs, manuals, directories, or magazines
- Conduct safety inspections on equipment before and during operation
- Operate perfect binding machines that process collated sheets or signatures through stages including vibrating, milling, roughening, gluing, covering, and stacking finished products
- Adjust and synchronize multiple workstations within a single machine for optimal performance
- Supervise and guide production crew throughout manufacturing processes
- Monitor product quality, output volume, and operational efficiency
