Responsibilities
- Verify accuracy of driver qualification records using the online driver management system.
- Conduct audits of new driver files to confirm completeness before final approval.
- Examine Department of Transportation drug and alcohol testing records for regulatory compliance.
- Generate and maintain Key Performance Indicator reports for safety metrics.
- Keep updated logs of all vehicle accidents involving fleet drivers.
- Request motor vehicle records and criminal background screenings as required.
- Process purchase requisitions and manage invoice receipt to ensure timely payments for fleet safety accounts.
- Research and distribute eligibility details for annual driver safety recognition awards.
- Attend monthly budget reviews and assist with key financial journal entries when necessary.
- Support operational sites with guidance on DOT drug and alcohol testing policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Monitor Driver Qualification files in Driver Management On-line Program for accuracy.
- Audit new DQ files to insure completion prior to approval.
- Review DOT Drug & Alcohol testing documentation to ensure compliance.
- Compile Key Point Indicator (KPI) Report
- Maintain vehicle accident registers.
- Order MVR's & Criminal background checks as needed.
- Requisition and receive invoices to ensure that all Fleet Safety accounts are paid timely.
- Research & apply information for Annual Driver Safety Awards & ensure that each driver receives what he/she is entitled to.
- Participate in monthly budget meetings and key journal entries as needed.
- Assist locations with questions pertaining to the policy & procedures of DOT drug/alcohol testing.
Other
- Work activities require daily contact with more than one department to discuss/interpret methods and procedures and also to resolve mutual problems.
- Work activities require daily contact with outside companies.
