Join a forward-thinking team developing high-performance firmware for satellite applications in low Earth orbit (LEO). This role centers on designing, simulating, and validating FPGA solutions using Intel and Xilinx platforms, with a strong emphasis on digital signal processing and embedded system integration.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and verify firmware for Intel and Xilinx FPGAs, ensuring reliability through simulation and testing
- Develop test benches and apply rigorous verification methods to validate complex logic and timing behavior
- Integrate custom IP cores into System-on-Chip (SoC) environments, including platforms like MicroBlaze, NIOS, and Zynq
- Work with high-speed digital systems involving frequency converters and multi-domain clocking architectures
- Implement DSP components such as filters and FFTs, optimizing for resource usage and performance
- Use oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and other lab tools to debug and validate hardware behavior
What We're Looking For
- Proven background in FPGA development using Intel and Xilinx devices
- Strong grasp of simulation workflows, test bench creation, and verification techniques
- Experience with embedded SoC architectures and integration practices
- Knowledge of high-frequency digital systems and clock domain management
- Hands-on familiarity with DSP implementation on FPGAs
- Proficiency with test equipment for signal analysis and debugging
- Fluent English communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with MPSoC or RFSoC platforms
- Familiarity with modern FPGA families like Xilinx Versal
- Understanding of best practices in embedded SoC design and deployment
Why This Matters
You’ll contribute to mission-critical systems in space-based Position, Navigation & Timing (PNT), secure communications, Earth observation, and space domain awareness. Your work will support long-term projects with international reach, built on stable, future-focused technology.
