Responsibilities
- Maintains clear and respectful communication with team members and supervisors using appropriate communication methods.
- Conducts audits of firearm documentation, including ATF Form 4473, acquisition and disposition logs, and internal records to verify adherence to legal and operational standards.
- Applies authorized corrections or adjustments to records based on audit findings.
- Generates comprehensive audit reports that include all required data and documented changes.
- Completes all assigned training programs successfully.
- Performs additional related tasks as directed by management.

Physical Requirements
- Standing is required frequently during firearm inventory audits.
- Sitting is occasionally necessary to complete audit tasks.
- Bending occurs frequently in all directions, following safe techniques.
- Reaching is performed frequently to verify firearm inventory.
- Walking is frequent within the store environment.
- Climbing is frequently required to reach elevated storage areas.
- Stooping is performed frequently.
- Kneeling is required on an occasional basis.
- Lifting and carrying firearms and firearm cases is necessary; employees must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, with some items weighing as much as 70 pounds, depending on the situation and individual limitations.
Tool Usage
No tools are regularly or routinely used during normal work activities.
Definitions
- Occasional refers to 20% of time or less.
- Frequent refers to 20-75% of time.
- Continuous refers to 75% of time or more.
Other
- Must be willing and able to be listed as a Responsible Person with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).
- Must pass a federal background check.
- Position requires 75% travel, both locally and nationally, including air travel as needed.
