Responsibilities
- Create detailed financial models including discounted cash flow, cashflow waterfalls, debt capacity assessments, covenant compliance checks, and scenario testing for infrastructure developments.
- Conduct comprehensive cost-benefit and economic evaluations using NPV, IRR, economic IRR, benefit quantification, equity impacts, and methods to address risk and uncertainty.
- Design public-private partnership frameworks covering feasibility, allocation of risks, payment structures, performance indicators, viability gap funding analysis, and value-for-money comparisons.
- Provide strategic guidance on transactions including market assessment, coordination with investors and lenders, selection of procurement approaches, bid evaluation design, and negotiation assistance.
- Produce high-caliber project documents such as concept papers, feasibility studies, PPP option analyses, investor memoranda, tender specifications, and bid evaluation reports.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineering, planning, environmental, legal, and commercial experts to integrate technical and contractual components.
- Evaluate funding alternatives including debt-equity configurations, blended finance instruments, guarantees, and credit support mechanisms, and ensure project bankability with financial institutions and development finance organizations.
- Deliver presentations to senior client representatives, lead stakeholder workshops, and offer clear, practical recommendations.
- Ensure adherence to relevant standards, policies, and methodological best practices, maintaining thorough documentation and audit-ready records.
- Support junior staff through coaching and contribute to the development of internal knowledge bases, analytical tools, and standardized templates.
