Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive process improvement projects across accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payments, reconciliations, and financial closing cycles.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma techniques to map processes, analyze value streams, run Kaizen events, and design future-state workflows.
- Detect sources of waste, bottlenecks, rework, inconsistencies, and control weaknesses, then execute targeted enhancements.
- Examine financial and operational data to uncover patterns, anomalies, root causes, and areas for optimization.
- Define and deploy KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools to track process efficiency, quality, cycle duration, and control strength.
- Convert data insights into actionable, prioritized recommendations for stakeholders.
- Manage full lifecycle projects from initial problem identification through analysis, execution, stabilization, and benefit realization.
- Lead collaborative teams spanning Finance, Technology, Operations, and business units.
- Oversee project planning, risk management, dependency tracking, stakeholder coordination, testing, training, and deployment.
- Develop and maintain accurate process documentation including flowcharts, SOPs, work instructions, and control records.
- Apply BPMN standards when applicable and facilitate training and knowledge transfer to operational staff.
- Ensure sustainable integration of improvements into standard operating procedures and governance frameworks.
- Recognize and support the rollout of internal controls and quality checks to reduce risk and maintain compliance.
