Motorola Solutions is hiring a Field Service Engineer - Southwest Region - US Remote

About the Role

The role centers on engineering design, system integration, and technical support for mission-critical communication systems, particularly those involving real-time video for situational awareness in public safety environments.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and project management teams to conduct site assessments and define client requirements.
  • Produce and manage engineering schematics, system designs, and material lists.
  • Support the creation of project proposals and technical documentation.
  • Estimate engineering effort and time requirements for project planning.
  • Offer technical guidance and support to project managers and installation crews.
  • Develop detailed installation scopes, implementation plans, and testing procedures.
  • Configure, integrate, and resolve technical issues with system components; coordinate with third-party vendors as needed.
  • Serve as a point of contact for external contractors and trades during deployment and support phases.
  • Deliver training sessions for customers and internal team members.
  • Present technical information and project updates in a professional manner.
