Wing Assistant is hiring a Field & Events Marketer

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritize tradeshows, conferences, and industry events that match the ideal customer profile and support revenue targets, maintaining a 12-month rolling event schedule.
  • Secure favorable terms by negotiating contracts with event organizers, vendors, and venues for sponsorships, booth placements, speaking opportunities, and additional benefits.
  • Manage all aspects of event logistics from start to finish, including booth design, shipping, promotional items, marketing materials, lead capture tools, AV needs, catering, and team travel arrangements.
  • Serve as the primary on-site contact at each event, handling setup, breakdown, real-time problem solving, and ensuring a professional brand presence throughout.
  • Prepare internal teams for events by communicating goals, key messages, target accounts, and logistical details to ensure alignment and readiness.
  • Collaborate with sales to schedule pre-event meetings, host customer gatherings, and ensure all leads are captured, assessed, and followed up promptly.
  • Support pre- and post-event marketing initiatives, including email campaigns, landing pages, paid ads, and social media, to boost booth traffic and meeting bookings.
  • Oversee event budgeting across the annual calendar, tracking expenses, forecasting spend, identifying risks, and adjusting allocations as priorities change.
  • Establish performance metrics for each event—such as leads generated, meetings held, pipeline impact, and return on investment—and deliver clear post-event reports with actionable insights.

  • Must be available to travel 30 to 50% of the time during peak event seasons across North America, with occasional trips to Europe as the business expands.
  • This position is fully remote and open to applicants residing in the United States or Canada.

  • Candidates must live within approximately one hour of a major airport with regular direct flight connections.

  • Qualified Canadian airport hubs are Toronto (YYZ), Vancouver (YVR), Calgary (YYC), and Montreal (YUL).
