About the Role

This role involves performing technical installations, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on laboratory instruments at customer sites, with an emphasis on minimizing downtime and delivering reliable service.

Responsibilities

  • Install new diagnostic systems at healthcare facilities.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance on laboratory equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical malfunctions promptly.
  • Ensure equipment complies with safety and performance standards.
  • Document service activities and outcomes accurately.
  • Respond to customer service requests within defined timeframes.
  • Calibrate instruments to meet operational specifications.
  • Train laboratory staff on proper equipment usage.
  • Follow regulatory guidelines during all field operations.
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools.
  • Coordinate service schedules with customers.
  • Escalate complex technical issues when necessary.
  • Adhere to company safety and quality protocols.
  • Provide feedback on equipment performance trends.
  • Support remote diagnostics when possible.
  • Communicate technical details clearly to non-technical users.
  • Complete service reports in a timely manner.
  • Follow up after service visits to confirm resolution.
  • Maintain familiarity with product updates and enhancements.
  • Work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
  • Travel locally to multiple customer locations.
  • Operate within defined service level agreements.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through reliable support.
  • Assist with equipment decommissioning when needed.
  • Participate in ongoing technical training programs.
