About the Role
The role involves delivering clinical expertise during procedures using the Sapien M3 transcatheter valve system, supporting physicians and hospital staff through training and hands-on guidance to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical support during transcatheter valve implantation procedures
- Provide real-time technical and procedural guidance to medical teams
- Train physicians and hospital staff on device use and protocols
- Assist in pre-procedure planning and case preparation
- Collaborate with field sales representatives to coordinate case coverage
- Respond to urgent procedural requests and schedule support as needed
- Document clinical cases and outcomes accurately
- Serve as a clinical resource for best practices and troubleshooting
- Support hospital teams in mastering new techniques and technologies
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory standards
- Participate in post-procedure follow-up and evaluation
- Gather and report feedback from clinicians on device performance
- Promote patient safety and procedural efficiency
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical data and guidelines
- Assist in the development of clinical training materials
- Support proctoring and mentoring of new users
- Attend clinical meetings and in-services
- Coordinate with clinical education teams for training initiatives
- Monitor inventory and equipment readiness for procedures
- Act as a liaison between clinical sites and technical support teams
- Support quality improvement initiatives related to clinical outcomes
- Contribute to the optimization of procedural workflows
- Stay current with advancements in structural heart disease treatments
- Ensure adherence to ethical and compliance standards
- Support clinical data collection for registries or studies
