Field Application Engineer – EMEA Region

Role Overview

In this position, you will serve as the primary technical contact for enterprise customers across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. You'll play a central role in deploying and optimizing AI infrastructure solutions, ensuring seamless integration of high-performance systems from initial testing through live production. Your work will directly influence customer success and product evolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical deployments of AI server platforms, managing system architecture, performance tuning, and end-to-end troubleshooting.
  • Develop trusted relationships with key clients through on-site and remote support, delivering technical workshops and integration guidance.
  • Own the technical execution of projects from proof-of-concept to scale, covering memory, storage, networking, and cluster configurations.
  • Collaborate with engineering, sales, and product teams to resolve issues, enhance system reliability, and align development with customer needs.
  • Represent customer feedback to internal teams, helping prioritize features and improvements while mentoring junior engineers as the regional support team grows.

Qualifications

You bring 8+ years of systems engineering experience in high-performance computing, AI, or related fields, with a strong foundation in hardware, software, and firmware. You’re adept at diagnosing issues across the full technology stack and can clearly explain technical concepts to both engineers and business leaders. Fluency in English and German is required, and additional European languages are an asset. You must be comfortable traveling 30–40% of the time across EMEA.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid role based in Munich, Germany, combining remote flexibility with regular travel across the region. You’ll work within a culture that values collaboration, intellectual curiosity, and solving complex technical challenges.
