Paired was looking for a Family Law Paralegal / Legal Assistant with U.S. Law Experience (Remote)

Paired is hiring a Family Law Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join a reputable law firm specializing in family law. In this fully remote role, you will support attorneys by handling a high-volume caseload, drafting legal documents, and managing heavy client interaction.

What You'll Do

  • Handle a high-volume caseload of family law matters.
  • Draft and file legal motions, pleadings, and other court documents.
  • Manage heavy client interaction — both written and verbal.
  • Prioritize and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • De-escalate stressful situations with professionalism and empathy.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files.
  • Utilize legal software and various applications to support clients efficiently.
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys and other legal staff as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • Prior experience in family law.
  • Ability to independently handle cases and communicate with clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal English.
  • Strong legal writing and document drafting skills.
  • Familiarity with U.S. legal procedures and terminology.
  • Comfortable using legal CRMs and productivity tools.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and client relationship skills.
