Responsibilities
- Overseeing or managing the creation of precise and detailed cost estimates and financial plans for projects or programmes
- Taking a key role in advancing and encouraging best practices in cost estimating across the organization
- Helping drive the accomplishment of team and departmental goals
- Keeping current with advancements in specialized technical fields
- Assisting in or leading the preparation of proposals for new contracts or assignments
- Guiding team members on specific assignments and deliverables
- Serving as a mentor and example for junior or less experienced professionals
- Leading client and consultant interactions throughout all phases of project delivery
- Driving efforts to grow business with both existing and new clients
- Recognizing and pursuing opportunities to expand service offerings across client portfolios
- Managing personnel, when applicable to the role
- Contributing to the capture, sharing, and application of organizational knowledge
