About the Role

This role involves supporting and improving ambulatory electronic health record systems by collaborating with clinical and technical teams to ensure efficient workflows and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze clinical workflows to identify opportunities for system improvements
  • Configure and maintain ambulatory EHR applications according to best practices
  • Collaborate with clinicians and IT staff to define system requirements
  • Support system upgrades, patches, and version enhancements
  • Develop and execute test plans for system changes
  • Troubleshoot technical and functional issues in production environments
  • Document system configurations and process workflows
  • Provide training and support to end users
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies
  • Participate in project planning and implementation timelines
  • Monitor system performance and recommend optimizations
  • Assist with data conversions and interface testing
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EHR functionality
  • Serve as a liaison between clinical teams and technical resources
  • Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures
  • Support go-live activities for new features or modules
  • Evaluate user feedback to guide system enhancements
  • Assist in the creation of reports and dashboards
  • Ensure data integrity across integrated systems
  • Promote user adoption through education and documentation
  • Participate in security and access management reviews
  • Coordinate with vendors for issue resolution
  • Stay current with industry trends and system updates
  • Support audit readiness and documentation requirements
  • Facilitate change management for system modifications
