About the Role
This role involves supporting and improving ambulatory electronic health record systems by collaborating with clinical and technical teams to ensure efficient workflows and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Analyze clinical workflows to identify opportunities for system improvements
- Configure and maintain ambulatory EHR applications according to best practices
- Collaborate with clinicians and IT staff to define system requirements
- Support system upgrades, patches, and version enhancements
- Develop and execute test plans for system changes
- Troubleshoot technical and functional issues in production environments
- Document system configurations and process workflows
- Provide training and support to end users
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies
- Participate in project planning and implementation timelines
- Monitor system performance and recommend optimizations
- Assist with data conversions and interface testing
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EHR functionality
- Serve as a liaison between clinical teams and technical resources
- Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures
- Support go-live activities for new features or modules
- Evaluate user feedback to guide system enhancements
- Assist in the creation of reports and dashboards
- Ensure data integrity across integrated systems
- Promote user adoption through education and documentation
- Participate in security and access management reviews
- Coordinate with vendors for issue resolution
- Stay current with industry trends and system updates
- Support audit readiness and documentation requirements
- Facilitate change management for system modifications
