About the Role
This position is responsible for serving as the primary architect for Epic Resolute Professional Billing, guiding configuration, integration, and optimization efforts across the revenue cycle. The role involves close collaboration with clinical, financial, and IT teams to ensure system functionality aligns with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of Epic Resolute Professional Billing solutions
- Serve as a subject matter expert for system functionality and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define workflows
- Configure system settings in alignment with organizational policies and regulations
- Support integration between billing systems and clinical applications
- Participate in testing and validation of system upgrades and patches
- Document system configurations, processes, and technical specifications
- Provide training and support to end users and operational staff
- Troubleshoot complex billing and claims processing issues
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and payer-specific billing rules
- Lead optimization initiatives to improve billing accuracy and revenue capture
- Participate in system audits and assist with regulatory reporting
- Mentor junior team members and share technical knowledge
- Stay current with Epic system updates and industry trends
- Work with external vendors and Epic support teams when needed
- Assist in project planning and timeline development
- Evaluate new features during Epic upgrades
- Support go-live activities and post-implementation stabilization
- Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders
