About the Role

The role involves managing Epic MyChart functionality, supporting system enhancements, training users, and ensuring compliance with clinical and technical standards.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain Epic MyChart modules according to organizational needs
  • Collaborate with clinical and technical teams to implement system updates
  • Troubleshoot and resolve patient and provider access issues
  • Support system testing during upgrades and new feature rollouts
  • Document configurations, workflows, and system changes
  • Provide training and guidance to end users and support staff
  • Ensure compliance with privacy and security regulations
  • Participate in project planning and timeline development
  • Analyze user feedback to improve system performance
  • Work with vendors and external partners on integration efforts
  • Monitor system performance and generate usage reports
  • Assist in credentialing and onboarding of new providers
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Epic certification standards
  • Lead optimization initiatives for patient portal features
  • Coordinate with IT teams on infrastructure dependencies
  • Support go-live activities for new implementations
  • Respond to urgent system issues during critical periods
  • Validate data accuracy between MyChart and core systems
  • Promote patient engagement through digital tools
  • Ensure accessibility standards are met for all users

Nice to Have

  • Epic Cabernet certification
  • Experience in a children's hospital or pediatric care system
  • Advanced training in Epic implementation methodologies
  • Prior experience mentoring junior analysts
  • Involvement in Epic system migrations or upgrades
  • Familiarity with patient portal analytics tools
  • Knowledge of mobile health application integration
