About the Role

The position involves conducting environmental site assessments, managing field data, preparing technical reports, and ensuring adherence to environmental regulations in support of project goals.

Responsibilities

  • Perform field investigations to evaluate soil, water, and air quality
  • Collect and analyze environmental samples using standard protocols
  • Prepare technical reports on site conditions and findings
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations
  • Conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments
  • Interpret environmental data to identify potential risks
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies during inspections and reviews
  • Assist in developing remediation plans for contaminated sites
  • Maintain accurate field logs and documentation
  • Operate environmental monitoring equipment
  • Review project plans for environmental impact considerations
  • Participate in site visits and stakeholder meetings
  • Ensure health and safety protocols are followed during field operations
  • Track project timelines and deliverables
  • Communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
  • Support emergency response activities when required
  • Use GIS tools for spatial data analysis
  • Assist in permitting processes for environmental projects
  • Stay current with changes in environmental legislation
  • Collaborate with engineers and scientists on multidisciplinary teams
