AECOM is hiring an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Principal

Responsibilities

  • Environment lead for high profile projects to secure State and Commonwealth approvals in collaboration with clients and cross-business line teams
  • Manage the delivery of complex Environmental Impact Assessment and approvals for major projects, including coordination of multidisciplinary technical teams, environmental impact assessment and approval processes (EIS, MID, EPBC)
  • Proven technical leadership and confidence managing multidisciplinary technical teams to identify risks, solve problems, communicate change through planning, design and approval processes
  • Provide technical advice and strategic planning for impact assessment and approvals across a diverse range of projects and environmental services
  • Manage resources, delegating activities, monitoring and managing project budgets (with support as required)
  • Leading business development activities, including proposals

Requirements

  • Technical excellence in project delivery
  • Proven technical leadership
  • Confidence managing multidisciplinary technical teams
  • Ability to identify risks, solve problems, and communicate change through planning, design and approval processes
  • Experience managing Environmental Impact Assessment and approval processes (EIS, MID, EPBC)
  • Project budget management (with support as required)
  • Business development and proposal leadership
