Role Overview
This position is central to the presales function for major enterprise clients, focusing on transforming raw claims data into strategic insights that support business development. The analyst independently investigates large datasets to model potential savings, assess risk, and quantify the impact of adopting a new pharmacy benefits approach. Close coordination with Sales, Analytics, Clinical, and Supply Chain teams ensures proposals are comprehensive and technically sound.
Key Responsibilities
- Query and analyze extensive claims databases using SQL to produce repricing models and forecast financial outcomes
- Develop clear, accurate reporting that supports risk evaluation and client decision-making
- Build compelling, enterprise-level deliverables that communicate value to prospective clients
- Conduct in-depth exploratory analysis to uncover trends, anomalies, and opportunities within healthcare spending data
- Ensure all outputs meet a high standard of quality and are suitable for external presentation
- Collaborate across departments via email, messaging platforms, and virtual meetings to align on project goals
- Support non-enterprise initiatives during periods of lower RFP volume
- Deliver ad hoc analyses to illustrate the broader impact of implementing a new pharmacy benefit solution
Qualifications
Required
- 3–5 years of professional experience in a data or business analysis role
- Proven ability to extract, interpret, and summarize insights from complex datasets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting technical findings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Looker, and Tableau
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines

- Background in healthcare, employee benefits, or software industries
Technology Environment
