London Hybrid Employment

Octopus Legacy is hiring an Enterprise Growth Lead

Responsibilities

  • Map the UK financial services landscape and build a targeted pipeline across insurers, banks, adviser networks and wealth managers - then convert them into long-term partnerships that scale.
  • Leverage existing relationships across the Octopus Group to open doors faster - then convert them into long-term partnerships that scale
  • Get us known. People already know Octopus - this is about showcasing the breadth of services we can offer. Whether that's speaking at industry events, hosting roundtables or simply being visible across UK wealth, insurance and banking circles.
  • Run deals end-to-end. From the first conversation to a signed contract, you'll navigate complex organisations with multiple stakeholders, align commercial terms, and get ink on paper.
  • Make the numbers do the talking. Build partner-specific business cases showing how our platform drives wealth retention, improves customer experience and supports Consumer Duty obligations.
  • Grow senior relationships across the sector. You'll be in rooms with heads of distribution, chief customer officers and board members - the kind of conversations where partnerships are shaped, not just sold.

Requirements

  • 7+ years selling into UK financial services at an enterprise level. You've closed complex, multi-stakeholder deals with insurers, banks or wealth managers and you have the relationships to show for it.
  • You know how these organisations work from the inside - the politics, the buying committees, the commercial pressures. You understand what makes a head of distribution say yes.
  • Naturally curious. You dig into how a partner's business actually runs before you walk in the room. You understand their customers, their pain points and where we fit.
  • Direct. With partners, with the team, with yourself. You say what you think and adjust based on what's working, not what you hoped would work.
  • You don't need managing. You set your own pace, build your own structure and get on with it.
  • Comfortable without a playbook. You've either built a market before or you've been itching to.
  • Long sales cycles, shifting stakeholders and incomplete information don't throw you off. You stay focused on the outcome.
  • You actually care about this. You can explain why bereavement support matters to a room of sceptical executives and make them care too - because we do.
  • You understand what it means to sell into FCA-regulated environments, consumer duty, and you take that seriously.

Benefits

  • Flexible working: 3 days in the office (London Bridge) you can work remotely up to 2 days a week.
  • Work from anywhere in the world for up to 4 weeks per year.
  • An extra holiday day for your birthday.
  • Life insurance, Health insurance, Will & LPAs.
  • Octopus share incentive scheme.
  • Cycle to Work Scheme and access to the Electric Vehicle (EV) Salary Sacrifice Scheme.
  • Octopus Giving: we match any charitable fundraising that you do up to £500.
  • Octopus Springboard: where we help our employees become fully-fledged entrepreneurs.
