Responsibilities
- Analyze current and future business capabilities to shape enterprise-level system designs and identify necessary changes for achieving strategic business outcomes.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies and assess how new and existing innovations can support evolving business and operational models.
- Collaborate with product owners and managers to build a scalable architectural foundation that accommodates upcoming product lifecycle needs.
- Establish architectural principles, standards, and solution patterns to ensure alignment with long-term enterprise vision.
- Convert business and technical requirements into comprehensive architectural blueprints and document all design and analysis activities.
- Evaluate the business and IT landscape to identify gaps, legacy constraints, and technical debt, then recommend actionable improvements.
- Assist product managers in making end-of-life decisions for systems, applications, and services, including whether to maintain, update, or retire them.
- Lead and oversee architectural planning across multiple projects or product portfolios.
- Design solutions to modernize on-premises infrastructure and support migration to cloud platforms.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Transform future business requirements into defined solution architecture needs.
- Apply creative and analytical thinking to address business challenges and develop effective architectural solutions.
