Asana was looking for an Enterprise Account Executive

Asana is looking for an Enterprise Account Executive to expand relationships with key customers and drive company growth. In this role, you will deepen connections with decision-makers, understand their evolving needs, and craft tailored strategies to unlock new opportunities.

What You'll Do

  • Drive revenue growth by expanding existing customer accounts through up-selling, cross-selling, and strong commercial strategy.
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closing, managing complex deals with multiple stakeholders.
  • Define territory and account strategies in partnership with Sales Engineers, Sales Development Reps, Customer Success Managers, and other teams.
  • Build strong relationships and establish trust with C-level executives and IT decision-makers to align solutions with strategic goals.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer goals to uncover new use cases and drive incremental revenue opportunities.
  • Anticipate challenges within customer accounts and offer tailored solutions to ensure long-term satisfaction.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Drive customer success by focusing on value delivery and ensuring customers realize measurable ROI from Asana.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an Enterprise sales role.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in a B2B closing sales role.
  • Proven track record of high and consistent quota attainment.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex sales cycles and delivering consistent growth within existing Enterprise accounts.
  • Growth orientation and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Background in consultative selling or strategic account management.
  • Strong at building trust with stakeholders across all levels, including C-suite executives.
  • Passionate about customer success and creating lasting partnerships that drive value.

Nice to Have

  • Previous SaaS experience.
  • Longer Enterprise experience.
  • Demonstrates curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them.

Team & Environment

Part of Asana's Enterprise sales team, collaborating with Sales Engineers, Sales Development Reps, Customer Success Managers, Professional Services, Channel and Partnership Managers, and Exec Sponsors.

This is a hybrid role based in the US (remote depending on state) or San Francisco, CA.
