Responsibilities
- Guide frontend development using React and TypeScript while also supporting backend systems in Java and Node.js to deliver full-stack features.
- Collaborate with Product and UX teams to convert business needs into clearly defined technical tasks, manage epic decomposition, and ensure team alignment prior to development.
- Act as the main technical representative for your team during architectural planning, sprint meetings, and inter-team coordination, clearly communicating engineering decisions and delivery timelines.
- Support engineers at all levels through code reviews, pair programming, regular one-on-one meetings, and ongoing mentorship to foster greater independence and accountability.
- Track team delivery performance, lead retrospective sessions, and actively identify and resolve impediments to maintain consistent progress and high-quality output.
- Manage the team's technical debt portfolio, define and prioritize technical initiatives each quarter, and advocate for clear documentation and sound architectural practices.
- Ensure operational stability of team-owned services by managing on-call schedules, leading incident resolution, and enforcing monitoring and alerting standards for new deployments.
- Engage in recruitment activities such as candidate interviews and hiring recommendations, and assist in integrating new hires as the team scales.
