Lead and shape a growing team of software engineers building scalable, cloud-native applications enhanced with AI capabilities. You’ll co-own product direction with Product Management, ensuring technical decisions align with customer needs and long-term platform health.
What You’ll Do
- Guide the full development lifecycle—from design and implementation to deployment and operations—with ownership over both code and outcomes.
- Recruit and develop engineers at all levels, fostering a culture where people grow, contribute, and take initiative.
- Champion modern engineering practices: continuous integration and delivery, infrastructure as code, automated testing, observability, and reliable release strategies.
- Stay technically engaged through hands-on coding, system design, and code reviews, especially in cloud-native microservices environments.
- Collaborate with fellow technical leaders to raise engineering standards across the organization.
- Design and integrate AI agents into real-world business workflows, enhancing product value through intelligent automation.
- Manage team rhythms—roadmaps, backlogs, sprint planning—efficiently, minimizing process overhead while maximizing delivery clarity.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience leading engineering teams, including hiring, mentoring, and building trust across distributed locations.
- Demonstrated ability to grow individuals—supporting junior engineers while challenging senior ones to reach higher.
- Strong technical foundation in Vue, .NET, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like Azure.
- Hands-on experience designing distributed systems and operating in cloud-native environments.
- Comfort balancing feature development, technical debt, and infrastructure investment, making trade-offs visible and sustainable.
- Experience in environments where engineering shares accountability for product success, not just delivery.
- Interest or experience in applying AI meaningfully within existing product ecosystems.
