As an Engineering Manager for AI Developer Tooling Workflows, you'll lead a newly formed team focused on redefining engineering productivity through artificial intelligence. Your primary mission is to design and deliver intelligent, agentic systems that seamlessly embed into the software development process, enabling developers to work more efficiently and with greater impact.
What You'll Do
- Lead and grow a team building foundational AI tooling that enhances developer velocity across large-scale environments
- Define and execute on a strategic vision for an AI-orchestrated developer experience, from concept to production
- Develop context-aware AI systems that understand codebases, workflows, and team dynamics to deliver actionable insights
- Collaborate with platform and engineering teams to integrate intelligent capabilities across the development lifecycle
- Mentor engineers working at the intersection of AI, automation, and software development practices
- Evaluate emerging AI coding tools and frameworks, guiding their adoption and adaptation within engineering workflows
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience leading high-performing engineering teams, particularly in developer tools or infrastructure
- Strong technical depth in AI/ML systems, large language models, or intelligent coding environments
- Track record of building scalable systems from the ground up in ambiguous, fast-evolving domains
- Ability to lead through influence, working effectively across teams without direct authority
- A passion for crafting seamless, powerful developer experiences that reduce friction and amplify impact
Preferred Experience
- Hands-on experience with or deep exploration of AI coding assistants such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools
