Lead and shape the future of a compact engineering team at a fully remote company focused on building and maintaining a reliable SaaS platform. As Engineering Lead, you'll take full responsibility for the technical direction, infrastructure, and development lifecycle of the product.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide the engineering team in delivering features efficiently and sustainably
- Oversee task planning, workload distribution, and team development
- Make strategic decisions on technology adoption and system architecture
- Support engineers through mentorship and professional growth opportunities
- Ensure systems remain stable, scalable, and aligned with customer needs
- Deliver software that consistently meets user expectations
What You Need
- Minimum of 3 years in a technical leadership role with direct responsibility for team management and delivery
- Proven experience operating and optimizing modern SaaS applications
- Deep familiarity with DevOps practices, Linux environments, AWS, and networking fundamentals
- Strong coding ability in Ruby and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails and React frameworks
- Extensive work with PostgreSQL and complex SQL queries in high-traffic production settings
- Proficiency with Git for version control
- Clear and effective communication skills in professional English
Technology Environment
Current stack includes Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Sidekiq, TypeScript, React, Heroku, and AWS. You’ll own the evolution and stability of these systems.
Work & Culture
