Rockwell Automation is looking for an Engineer, Remote Support - EIT to join our Engineer in Training program. This 16-week program focuses on technical and professional development for early-career engineers. After training, you'll transition to the Remote Support team, providing technical assistance for our global portfolio of automation products.
What You'll Do
- Support customers and distributors in solving technical problems related to Rockwell Automation products via telephone, chat, and email.
- Simulate and analyze issues reported by users in the laboratory environment.
- Document technical solutions and best practices.
- Cooperate with technical teams and customer service departments.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts for Rockwell Automation products and technologies.
- Participate in on-site projects for approximately 20% of the year.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Automation, Electronics, or IT.
- Authorization to work in Poland.
- Very good written and spoken English.
- Basic knowledge of automation and a strong willingness to develop in this area.
- Residence within commuting distance and ability to attend the office in Katowice on a regular basis.
Nice to Have
- 1+ years of experience in automation control systems programming and implementation.
- Knowledge of Drives Technology.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols.
- Knowledge in motion Technology.
- Experience using technical documentation.
- Very good written and spoken Polish or another European language.
