Requirements
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus two (2) years of experience as a Sr. Engineer Plant, Sr. OSP Designer, or related occupation in telecommunications infrastructure design and management.
- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus four (4) years of experience as a Sr. Engineer Plant, senior OSP Designer, or related occupation in telecommunications infrastructure design and management.
- Modifying and changing routing and splicing plans after network design to accommodate new addresses or changes in network routing for various network types, including Distributive Split, Centralized Split, and Distributive Tap.
- Possessing knowledge of different types of materials needed to build a network, including selecting appropriate splice enclosures, fiber cable sizes and types, structural components, various splitters, and conduits necessary for building robust network infrastructures.
- Reading and creating models on FME HLD, BOM, Footage, QC, GDB, Pole Hardware, and Splicing models.
- Understand and design the layout and specifications of different GPON and XGS-PON networks, including Distributed Split, Centralized Split, and Distributed Tap.
