About the Role
This role involves delivering energy efficiency solutions by working with utilities, government agencies, and commercial clients to design, implement, and evaluate energy-saving programs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct technical assessments for energy efficiency opportunities
- Support the development of energy-saving strategies for clients
- Analyze utility data to identify performance trends
- Assist in designing energy efficiency programs for public and private sectors
- Prepare reports on energy savings and program outcomes
- Collaborate with engineering teams on project implementation
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback
- Evaluate emerging technologies for energy conservation
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines
- Deliver presentations to clients and partners
- Manage project timelines and deliverables
- Participate in site visits to assess energy systems
- Provide input on incentive structures for energy programs
- Track and report on key performance metrics
- Support training initiatives for internal and external teams
- Contribute to proposal development for new projects
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of energy policies
- Work with contractors to ensure quality implementation
- Identify opportunities for process improvements
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams on integrated solutions
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM) credential
- Experience with demand-side management programs
- Knowledge of greenhouse gas accounting
- Familiarity with federal or state energy policies
- Project management certification
- Experience in proposal writing and client acquisition
- Background in mechanical or electrical systems
- Proficiency in energy auditing tools
- Track record of successful program delivery
