About the Role

The role involves building and maintaining endpoint computing solutions used in factory environments, supporting large-scale hardware production with a focus on system stability, imaging, and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement endpoint computing architectures for manufacturing use cases
  • Develop and maintain system imaging processes for consistent deployment
  • Support large-scale provisioning and configuration of factory devices
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues affecting endpoint performance
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize system uptime
  • Maintain security baselines across all factory-connected endpoints
  • Monitor system health and performance metrics for early issue detection
  • Create automation scripts to streamline endpoint management tasks
  • Manage firmware updates and patching across distributed systems
  • Document system configurations and support procedures
  • Ensure compliance with internal security and operational standards
  • Integrate endpoint systems with centralized monitoring tools
  • Support incident response related to endpoint failures
  • Evaluate new hardware platforms for factory integration
  • Optimize boot and deployment times for production efficiency
  • Work with cross-functional teams to align endpoint design with product requirements
  • Maintain inventory of endpoint devices and lifecycle status
  • Diagnose network-related issues impacting device functionality
  • Implement remote management capabilities for distributed systems
  • Ensure scalability of endpoint solutions as production ramps

Nice to Have

  • Experience in defense or aerospace manufacturing
