Responsibilities
- Collaborate with an independent team dedicated to a specific area of the IT organization, reporting directly to the IT Director.
- Oversee endpoint infrastructure comprehensively, from initial design to ongoing maintenance.
- Develop, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient endpoint management infrastructure to ensure top-tier security for a diverse fleet of devices, including macOS, ChromeOS, Windows, iOS, and Android.
- Enhance endpoint management capabilities and efficiencies through custom software development and the use of both industry-standard open-source tools and proprietary software solutions.
- Utilize modern Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) methodologies and develop GitOps-driven solutions to achieve consensus-based fleet management at scale.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience as an Endpoint Engineer.
- Experience managing multiple international sites, including single sites with 2,000+ endpoints.
- Effective communication skills with stakeholders and the ability to manage expectations.
- Proficiency in modern programming (Python) and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) languages.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Jamf PRO, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Intune for secure fleet management, as well as similar cloud identity providers.
- Proven success with open-source endpoint management tooling for configuration management, mobile device management, application management, and telemetry, such as Salt, Puppet, Munki, Nano/MicroMDM, osquery, Autopkg, ChromeBrew, WinGet, apt, etc.
- History of developing and delivering secure, reliable, scalable, and innovative technology solutions.
- Deep knowledge and experience managing corporate infrastructure at scale with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices and GitOps workflows (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, etc.).
- Experience integrating and operating fleet management infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
- Proven track record of deploying and operating fleet management infrastructure in public cloud environments (Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST.
- Strong soft skills, including stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration.
