About the Role
The employee in this position delivers hands-on technical assistance to internal staff, troubleshooting desktop, laptop, and peripheral issues while ensuring systems are configured and maintained according to company standards.
Responsibilities
- Respond to helpdesk tickets and in-person requests for technical support
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software malfunctions on desktops and laptops
- Install, configure, and update operating systems and approved applications
- Support connectivity for wired and wireless network access
- Manage user accounts and access permissions in coordination with IT teams
- Deploy and troubleshoot printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices
- Assist with setup of virtual meeting tools and conference room technology
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system
- Escalate complex technical problems to higher-level support teams
- Follow documented procedures for system imaging and provisioning
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes for new and departing employees
- Perform routine system checks and preventive maintenance tasks
- Assist with software license compliance and inventory tracking
- Provide clear and professional communication to non-technical users
- Follow security protocols for data protection and device handling
Nice to Have
- CompTIA A+ certification
- Experience with mobile device management platforms
- Familiarity with endpoint security tools
- Knowledge of scripting for automation tasks
- Prior experience in a financial services environment

Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry computer monitors, laptops, and desktops weighing up to 40 pounds
- Frequent movement between workstations and equipment rooms required
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while performing technical tasks
Work Environment
- Primarily office-based with occasional travel between office locations
- Hybrid schedule allowing for both on-site and remote support duties
- Occasional after-hours support may be required for system updates or outages
