Role Overview
As a Senior Emulation Engineer, you will play a key role in validating complex hardware-software systems using HAPS emulation platforms. You'll work directly with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration, develop robust test automation frameworks, and optimize device performance through detailed analysis and debugging.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with hardware and software teams to verify system-level functionality and ensure alignment with design specifications.
- Create and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and reliability.
- Analyze and tune device performance to reduce latency and enhance operational stability.
- Mentor junior engineers and interns by providing technical direction and troubleshooting support.
- Contribute to architectural reviews by offering insights into hardware-software interactions and system improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of eight years of hands-on experience with HAPS emulators and Protocompiler toolchains.
- Proficiency in Xilinx Vivado for synthesis and implementation workflows.
- Strong debugging skills applied to firmware and OS-level issues within the device under test.
- Solid understanding of CPU interactions with memory subsystems and GPIO interfaces.
- Working knowledge of high-speed protocols including PCIe Gen6, CXL, and Ethernet.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
Work Environment
This is a fully remote position. Engineers will have secure, stable access to the development environment from any location, enabling consistent workflow and collaboration without the need for physical presence.
