Responsibilities
- Assist individuals in identifying career goals and suitable job opportunities
- Develop job readiness skills through coaching and hands-on training
- Collaborate with local businesses to create employment partnerships
- Support job placement by matching candidates with appropriate roles
- Conduct worksite assessments to ensure proper accommodations
- Provide on-the-job training and performance feedback
- Monitor employee progress and address challenges as needed
- Maintain regular contact with both employees and employers
- Facilitate communication between support teams and employers
- Assist with resume development and interview preparation
- Coordinate transition services from training to employment
- Advocate for individuals in the workplace
- Track outcomes and maintain detailed case records
- Ensure compliance with program guidelines and regulations
- Participate in team meetings and service planning
- Respond to employer inquiries about hiring support
- Promote inclusive hiring practices
- Support crisis resolution in employment settings
- Assist with benefit counseling related to employment
