Shape the future of audio firmware by developing embedded software for next-generation wireless devices. In this role, you'll focus on prototyping and integrating core components in C for audio products including truly wireless earbuds, headsets, and speakers, primarily targeting Qualcomm's latest SoCs such as the S7 platform.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and test firmware drivers and system components for embedded audio applications
- Configure hardware and software during early development and pre-production stages
- Perform low-level debugging and validation using measurement tools and analysis software
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability and long-term maintainability
- Collaborate with international teams to deliver robust firmware solutions for global audio brands
What We're Looking For
- At least 5 years of experience in embedded systems development
- Strong proficiency in C, particularly in resource-constrained environments
- Hands-on experience with Qualcomm Bluetooth SoCs such as QCC51**, QCC309*, or QCC71**
- Familiarity with ADK updates and low-level software bring-up
- Working knowledge of SPI, UART, I2C, and USB interfaces
- Ability to interpret sensor datasheets and develop corresponding drivers
- Experience with agile workflows, whether Scrum or KanBan
- Fluency in spoken and written English
Nice to Have
- Experience with QCC S7 or S5 platforms
- Background in Bluetooth or other wireless protocols
- Development experience on battery-powered, memory-limited devices
- Exposure to mobile application integration
- Familiarity with lab equipment like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power measurement tools
- Knowledge of STM microcontrollers or charging circuit topologies
- Understanding of production lifecycle and support processes
