About the Role
This position involves executing electrical system installations, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining equipment across industrial or commercial worksites during scheduled shifts.
Responsibilities
- Install electrical wiring, components, and systems according to specifications
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in equipment and circuits
- Perform routine maintenance on power distribution systems
- Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes and safety regulations
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Test electrical systems using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and installations
- Respond to emergency electrical issues as needed
- Support commissioning of new electrical systems
- Ground and bond electrical systems properly
- Install conduit and raceway systems
- Mount electrical enclosures and panels
- Connect power to machinery and equipment
- Verify circuit integrity and load requirements
- Follow lockout/tagout procedures
- Work safely in high-voltage environments
- Assist in quality assurance checks
- Adhere to site-specific safety protocols
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades
