About the Role
The role involves creating electrical designs and technical documentation for building systems, focusing on power distribution, lighting, and control systems. The engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient, and code-compliant solutions.
Responsibilities
- Produce electrical schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams for building projects
- Perform load calculations and size electrical components accurately
- Ensure designs comply with Lithuanian and international electrical codes
- Collaborate with architects and mechanical engineers on integrated systems
- Support project managers with design input and scheduling
- Review contractor submittals and provide technical feedback
- Conduct site visits to verify installation accuracy and design intent
- Develop single-line diagrams and panel schedules
- Specify electrical equipment and materials based on project needs
- Use CAD and BIM software for design and modeling tasks
- Coordinate grounding and bonding requirements in electrical systems
- Assist in energy efficiency evaluations and lighting design
- Prepare technical specifications and procurement documents
- Respond to requests for information during construction
- Verify compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Participate in design review meetings with clients and stakeholders
- Update designs based on field changes or engineering reviews
- Support commissioning processes for electrical systems
- Maintain accurate design records and version control
- Integrate renewable energy systems where applicable
- Evaluate voltage drop and power quality considerations
- Work within project timelines and deliver design packages on schedule
- Assist with troubleshooting electrical issues during construction
- Ensure electromagnetic compatibility in control systems
- Document design assumptions and engineering calculations
