Responsibilities
- Perform on-site evaluations of existing buildings as part of a collaborative team, focusing on electrical infrastructure such as emergency power, solar photovoltaic systems, fire alarms, security, data networks, and surveillance.
- Collaborate efficiently with clients and on-site staff to inspect assets while maintaining a daily assessment pace of 125,000 to 250,000 square feet.
- Assess the state of electrical and low-voltage systems, estimating remaining service life, repair costs, and necessary corrective actions.
- Detect and classify system deficiencies, documenting issues from minor concerns to critical failures with technical accuracy.
- Develop clear, actionable recommendations with detailed specifications to support future project development and budget forecasting.
- Engage with facility operations and maintenance personnel to gather historical data, maintenance records, and operational insights; produce progress reports for management review.
- Review peer deliverables for quality and consistency; contribute to post-project evaluations to improve processes.
- Take on additional duties as assigned based on project or team needs.
