Shape the future of manufacturing through enterprise architecture in a pivotal role driving end-to-end transformation across Production Planning, Manufacturing Execution, and Plant Management. As a Domain Architect, you will lead the design and governance of Manufacturing capabilities within a large-scale SAP S/4HANA programme, ensuring solutions are aligned with strategic business goals and enterprise-wide standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with domain leadership to define and deliver Manufacturing value streams, applying Fit-to-Standard and Clean Core principles to maximise efficiency and scalability.
- Own the architectural roadmap for Manufacturing, including solution design, integration patterns, data governance, and risk management across global operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional architecture teams to ensure coherence, drive innovation, and implement modern cloud-based practices in manufacturing environments.
- Translate complex business requirements into future-state architectures, guiding teams through Agile delivery and continuous improvement cycles.
- Champion a zero-harm safety culture, integrating safety and sustainability into every phase of design and implementation.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven track record as a Domain Architect in large SAP S/4HANA programmes, with deep understanding of Manufacturing modules and enterprise integration.
- Expertise in end-to-end manufacturing processes, including regulatory compliance, PLM integrations, MBOM/EBOM, and digital manufacturing platforms such as MES, historians, and CAM systems.
- Hands-on experience with BPM tools like Celonis or Signavio, and Agile delivery frameworks using Jira or Atlassian suite.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and lead through ambiguity.
