Responsibilities
- Manage the project distribution list within the EDMS platform (Aconex).
- Report system-related issues promptly to the Document Control Manager.
- Identify areas for process enhancement and stay informed about new software developments.
- Support the upkeep of a tracking system for NCRs, CARs, RFIs, Change Requests, and other essential project documents from initiation to closure.
- Help project teams generate and refine reports using the Aconex system.
- Support the development of the final project report using Aconex tools.
- Assist in creating, communicating, implementing, maintaining, and auditing required contract submittals via Aconex.
- Support tracking of RFIs through key lifecycle stages using Aconex reporting features.
- Ensure proper receipt, recording, management, and accessibility of all project documentation.
- Assign document and drawing numbers according to project guidelines, client requirements, and management direction.
- Provide support for document control functions in Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Organize and maintain project files in SharePoint, including access permissions and version tracking.
- Maintain accurate RFI and Submittal Tracker logs for the assigned zone, with regular updates and summary reporting to leadership.
- Meet defined processing timelines from document receipt to final distribution.
- Support post-construction document archiving and retention activities as specified in the project agreement.

Part of the STC joint venture team (Aecon and FCC Canada Ltd.) delivering the Scarborough Subway Extension project.
Who We Are
STC is a joint venture between Aecon and FCC Canada Ltd., selected by Metrolinx to deliver the Stations, Rails and Systems package for the Scarborough Subway Extension. This project will extend Line 2 subway service approximately eight kilometers into Scarborough, from Kennedy Station to Sheppard Avenue and McCowan Road, replacing the former Line 3 (Scarborough RT) and improving transit access to jobs, schools, and downtown areas.
